The loyalty of our participants, volunteers and donors is the Foundation of the Classic Car Rally.

On Sunday, February 24, 2002 Interlaken Resort and Country Spa hosted the presentation of a check from the Classic Car Rally and the Corinne Kreissl Memorial Foundation, Inc., to Vicki Spatt-Ballweg Vice President, Southeast Region of the American Cancer Society Wisconsin Division, Inc. Officers, Directors and staff of the Lake Geneva based Memorial Foundation were on hand to present the largest annual donation to date to fund the Grant known as the Corinne Kreissl Memorial Foundation Grant for Cancer Research at the Medical College of Wisconsin directed by Dr.Robert Truitt.

This year's 26th Annual event will again be hosted by Interlaken Resort on September 27th and 28th. The weekend kicks-off with a "Taste of the Car Rally" party on Friday evening, September 26th at Samantha Richardson's home "Vagabond" on the South Shore of Lake Geneva. A car show on Saturday morning by the lake front in Lake Geneva is planned before the dealing around the lake begins.

On Saturday evening, for the 26th year, the Riviera Ballroom in downtown Lake Geneva at the lake will be the site of the Hubcap-Running Board Dance featuring The Airmen of Swing. This band featuring original charts will bring back the sounds that the Riviera was originally meant for.

On Sunday, as Rally participants complete their around the Lake tour, a car show will be staged on Interlaken grounds on Lake Como and weather permitting, a fly-over by antique aircraft and Warbirds from the World War II era will take place before the awards program and finale at 2:30 PM at the Chalet.
