and Country Spa of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin recently hosted the presentation of a check from
the Lake Geneva Classic Car Rally and the Corinne Kreissl Memorial Foundation, Inc., to
Vicki Spatt-Ballweg-Vice President, Southeast Region of the American Cancer Society
Wisconsin Division, Inc. Officers, Directors and staff of the lake Geneva based Memorial
Foundation were on hand to present the second largest donation to date to fund the Grant
known as the Corinne Kreissl Memorial Foundation Grant for Cancer Research at the Medical
College of Wisconsin directed by Dr. Eric P. Cohen, M.D. Last year $57,651.00 was
donated. The Memorial Foundation's annual event known as the Lake Geneva Classic Car Rally
is held each September and features a week end long Poker Rally around Lake Geneva in both
directions. Inclement weather limited incentive to participate in the 26th Annual event on September 27 and 28, 2003. About 500 vehicles participated on Saturday and Sunday raising $41,452.00 to fight childhood cancer in memory of Corinne Kreissl. This amount, will be added to Research Grant ROG-00-350-01 of the American Cancer Society, to raise the total to date, since the Rally's inception in 1978 to $500,106.00. |

This Year's 27th Rally is Planned for September 25th & 26th 2004
| This year's 27th Annual event will again be
hosted by Interlaken Resort on September 25 and 26, 2004. The weekend kicks-off
with a "Taste of the Car Rally" party on Friday evening, September 24th at
Samantah Richardson's home "Vagabond" on the South Shore of Lake Geneva. A
car show on Saturday morning by the lake front in Lake Geneva is planned before the
dealing around the lake begins. On Saturday evening, for the 7th year the Riviera Ballroom in downtown Lake Geneva at the lake will be the site of the Hubcap-Runningboard Dance featuring Johnny Star and the Meteors. This band from Chicago will bring back the sounds of the 50s and 60s with the theme "Dancin' the Night Away". On Sunday, as Rally participants complete their around the Lake tour, a car show will be staged on Interlaken grounds on Lake Como and weather permitting, a fly-over by antique aircraft and Warbirds from the World War II era will take place at noon before the awards program and finale at 2:30 PM at the Chalet.
