Founded by George and Janice Kreissl in memory of their daughter Corinne.

The loyalty of our participants, volunteers and donors is the Foundation of the Classic Car Rally.

On Sunday, February 4, 2007 Foley's Irish Woods Restaurant hosted the presentation of a check from the Classic Car Rally and the Corinne Kreissl Memorial Foundation, Inc., to Kari Brunell, of the American Cancer Society Wisconsin Division, Inc. Officers, directors and staff of the Lake Geneva based Memorial Foundation were on hand to present $31,334.00, the annual donation to fund the grant known as "The Midwest Division Corinne Kreissl Memorial Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship". The Memorial Foundation's annual event known as the Lake Geneva Classic Car Rally is held each September and features a weekend-long poker rally around Lake Geneva in both directions. Last September's Rally was the 29th annual event and the amount raised the original rally in 1978 totals to $637,762.00.

This Year's 30th Rally is Planned for September 29th & 30th 2007

The Lodge at Geneva Ridge (formerly Interlake) is the host site for the 30th annual event and September 29 and 30 are the 2007 dates. The weekend kicks-off with a "Taste of the Car Rally" party on Friday evening, September 28th at Samantha Richardson's home "Vagabond" on the south shore of Lake Geneva. A car show on Saturday Morning by the lake front in Lake Geneva is planned before the dealing around the lake begins. On Saturday evening the Riviera Ballroom will be the site of a Dance bringing back the sounds that the Riviera was originally meant for. On Sunday, as Rally participants complete their around the lake tour a car show will be staged on Geneva Ridge grounds on Lake Como and weather permitting, a fly-over by antique aircraft and Warbirds from the World War II era will take place before the awards program and finale at 2:30 p.m. at the chalet.
